The ceremony received the paresence of VNU President Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha, UEB Rector Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, UEB Vice Rectors and representatives of UEB offices, centers and faculties. All the students who were receiving bachelor’s degree and representatives of UEB’s partners attended the ceremony.
At the graduation ceremony 2013, there were 292 students granted bachelor’s degree of all the regular training programs, including 26 of Political Economics, 54 of Development Economics, 83 of International Economics, 76 Finance - Banking, 37 of Business Administration and 16 students of double degree program.

Speaking at the ceremony, UEB Rector Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son emphasized: “Your experience in a dynamic environment of the UEB has brought you both challenges and advantages, useful knowledge and skill, which I believe that will help you in your future with your dynamic and confident spirit; you are sure find your opportunity and build the career”.
The UEB Rector also believed that, in the context of globalization and the rapid development of knowledge economy and technology, in order not to be left behind, the students would continue to study and practise restlessly, contributing to the new values of the society. “You may progress slowly but never step back, but the success is eventually”, said the Rector.

CEO cum General Director of Luu Hung Phat Vietnam JSC.  Mr. Luu Van Thanh, representing the UEB’s partners, said he was impressed by the outstanding achievements of the university. He thought that employers would welcome the UEB’s graduates to contribute to the development of their business and the society. Business community in general and Luu Hung Phat Vietnam JSC in particular hope to assist students who have good study result to success in life and contribute to the development of the UEB through cooperation and scholarship programs.

On this occasion, UEB Rector also rewarded for students who had outstanding result in study and active contribution to the activities of Youth Union and Students’ Association during the course 2009-2013. Another academic year closed and a new generation of UEB students graduate, promising to contribute their knowledge, dynamism and passionation to the society. The UEB has been and will be persevere in guiding the generations of students to new successes in the future.
