Opening ceremony of BBS Massey program, intake 2

On 11th November 2010, University of Economics and Business - VNU has held the opening ceremony for Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) 2+2 joint training program between the university and Massey University (New Zealand).


Attending to the ceremony were Dr. David Tripe - Associate Head, School of Economics and Finance, Massey University; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Director of Research & Partnership Development Office, Dr. Pham Vu Thang - Director of Center for International Training and Education, University of Economics and Business - VNU and new students of BBS program and their parents.

At the ceremony, Dr. David Tripe has indicated advantages of Massey University and approach opportunityies of advanced education, knowledge and achievement exchanging in globalization. This also is the opportunity for Vietnamese students to come to study in New Zealand. In 2011, Massey University are planned to have several renovations in training methodology and improvement of faculties’ qualification to adapt international students’, including Vietnamese students in Massey, talk Dr. Tripe. As for Vietnamese students’ facility, Massey University will study to propose an appropriate English curriculum.

Additionally, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet shared with the students about the curriculum and hoped that they would have the highest results after graduation. Especially, Massey University has offered 100 reference books for BBS 2+2 Program.

The ceremony also received Mr. Ngo Duc Thanh, who is following a doctoral program Massey University. He has shared his experience of studying environment and living conditions at Massey to relieve students and their parents for the first time in New Zealand.
