MOU Signing Ceremony on Cooperation between University of Economics and Business - VNU and Hanoi School of Public Health

On 13th January 2009 the Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation between University of Economics and Business (UEB) - VNU and Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) was solemnly held.


Participating in the ceremony from Hanoi School of Public Health was Assoc. Prof. PhD. Le Vu Anh - Rector, PhD. Bui Thu Ha - Vice Rector in charge of Training and other staff. From UEB was Assoc. Prof. PhD. Phung Xuan Nha - Rector, Vice Rectors and the authorities of concerned Departments: Administration, Cooperative Development and Scientific Research…

It was agreed that in the coming period, UEB and HSPH will cooperate in the following major activities:

(1) Sharing the result of research information, co-organizing scientific seminars and discusing topics relating to public policies, management and leadership in the medical and community health care areas;

(2) Jointly developing, designing and imlementing the projects financed by both overseas and domestically relating to the above areas;

(3) Designing and implementing the training courses in economic management capacity building for medical workers at national and local levels;

(4) Exchanging students and lecturers to teach in the subjects relevant to the training programs…

Hanoi School of Public Health was established in April 2001, and its duties is to conduct studies, organizing training courses for staffs, managers and leaders so as to provide them with advanced knowledge of social science, primary health and public health. With the principle of learner-centered, HSPH has ceaselessly improving the quality of training, researching and services. It is heading for becoming a leading center of training, researching and consulting in the area of public health in Vietnam and in the region.

UEB and HSPH have many strong points in common and cooperative relationships with national and international partners. The cooperative agreement will be an open door to many opportunities in improving the quality of teaching and researching of both institutions, as well as providing more and more highly qualified human resources in economics management in the health area for the society.
