Important agreements gained between Troy University and University of Economics and Business - VNU

On 6th August 2008, Dr. Phillip Lyon, Director of International program worldwide of Troy University (USA) had a working visit to University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB - VNU).


At the working session, the two sides gained important agreements concerning the Bachelor of Business Administration program and the Master of Business Administration program implemented by both to sides. 

Dr. Phillip Lyon joyfully announced that Troy University had been voted as the best University in South East America by famous Princeton Review.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice Rector of the UEB also expressed the happiness that many graduates from the Bachelor of Business Administration program cooperated with the UEB are currently working for top Vietnamese and foreign companies such as the Gami Group, HSB, ANZ, etc. After 3.5 years studying, apart from technical knowledge, students of this program are provided many skills such as presentation skill, team work skill, problem solving skill, thus they can easily acquaint to new environment and have professional working manners.

Students of BBA and MBA programs by Troy University in Vietnam will attend the same study programs as in the USA and other countries. Since the programs are united all over the world, students can transfer and study in Troy University in Europe or the USA to complete the program. Vietnamese students studying in the USA can enjoy favorable tuition fee, which is under USD5,000/year. As a public university with over 100 years of history, Troy University always provides the best studying conditions for students. Moreover, international students can participate in many social activities and cultural exchange activities with students from all over the world.

The UEB has become an important partner of Troy University in Vietnam. The both two side committed to stabilize the quality of Troy University’s training programs in Vietnam at a highest level and continuously create study chances for students. According to the agreement, in 2009, the BBA program will be expanded with 2 new majors: Finance and International Hospitality Management. Especially, students of the latter program can have opportunities to join paid-internship in big hotels and well known entertainment centers in the USA which signed the agreement with Troy University to receive internship students from Vietnam and China.
