Leader’s Representatives and students of Chiang Mai University visited UEB

On 8th May 2008, Leader’s Representatives of Chiang Mai University (CMU - Thailand) and its students have come and visited University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB - VNU).


Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, UEB’s Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dung, Dean of Faculty of Political Economics and some other lecturers and staff of Political Economics Faculty have attended the meeting. Prof.Dr. Nitsit, Chiang Mai University’s Vice Rector and some other Profs. and 30 students of Faculty of Political Economics were presented for CMU at the meeting.

At the meeting, both colleges have discussed about forming an alliance between Vietnam and Thailand about export rice, solutions to deal with energy crisis and some other aspects. The most important subject was discussed about how to improve the cooperation between two colleges in training, exchange students.

Prof.Dr. Nitsit highly appreciated the cooperation between two universities and hoped to build up the mutual cooperation model between UEB and CMU.
