UEB lecturers with national and international journal articles: Great motivation to believe in breakthrough

Publishing papers on prestigious domestic and international scientific journals is extremely important, not only for researchers to develop themselves but also for university to affirms the academic prestige of its lecturers. In the first 6 months of 2021, VNU University of Economics and Business has recognized the efforts and contributions of the university's lecturers with quality articles published in prestigious journals of Vietnam and the world.

With restless innovation and creativity efforts in scientific research, VNU University of Economics and Business has affirmed its position. The research projects by UEB’s lecturers have made positive contribution to the development in the fields of economics, business and management.

Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Journal of Economics and Business said: "The publication of scientific articles in prestigious domestic and international journals is of great importance to each researchers and to the whole organization. The organization with more recognized research papers will acquire its prestige in the field of research.”

In the first 6 months of 2021, the University’s lecturers have published more than 50 articles on domestic journals and more than 40 articles on international journals, including more than 30 papers published in journals indexed in ISI/ Scopus.

Research activity requires great efforts and the authors have to take a long and challenging journey. MA. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai - Lecturer of the Faculty of International Business and Economics said: "For me, scientific papers - whether published on domestic or international journals - are all products of knowledge. The product is made with great effort. It's a process that's both "painful" and "happy. I suffer the tiredness and failure during the preparation of the article, but I also experience the happiness of learning and get to know what I did not know before..."
