From 2008 to 2021, the VNU Journal in Economics and Business has achieved remarkable results, setting the stage for the Journal of Economics and Business to develop and approach the international standards and criteria such as: online publishing with DOI indexed, data embedded into Google Scholar and V-CitationGate, adequate scientific content, the form and publishing process meets the criteria of ASEAN Citation Index (ACI).

Moving into a new phase, the Journal of Economics and Business continues to improve its quality. In particular, the journal has its International Editorial Council of 30 members who are prestigious scholars from universities, research institutes and government agencies in Vietnam and from the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, Poland, Slovakia, Singapore etc. The members with their academic excellence and enthusiasm will contribute greatly to the development of the journal following international standards. The journal aims at meeting the strict review criteria of the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) and move towards joining the ACI system. Meanwhile, the Journal also oriented toward Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
