Volleyball player Nguyen Thu Hoai became a fresher at the VNU University of Economics and Business

Nguyen Thu Hoai is the first professional volleyball player of Vietnam receiving the title of “excellent setter” in an Southeast Asia championship. She proved herself a great setter since 2016 when she defeated other players from Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia to become the best setter of the Southeast Asia Youth Volleyball championship.
Understanding the difficulties of professional athletes
after retirement, Thu Hoai chose herself the unique way namely “The training
program in Business Administration for sport talents” developed by VNU
University of Economics and Business and the General Department of Sports. This
is a pioneer program, exclusively designed for the professional athletes,
equipping them with the knowledge, skills and practical lessons in corporate
management and sport business, expanding their job prospect after retirement.
With physical strength, agility and sensitivity, Nguyen Thu Hoai proved herself a great setter

The training program in Business Administration for sports
talents is designed with a flexible time frame, suitable for the competition
schedule, so that sports athletes can take classes while joining competitions.
1. Admission method:
* Method 1:
- Eligibility: Members of the national team who have
completed the official international tournaments, having graduated from high
school or equivalent.
- Assessment: Based on the level and size of the tournament.
* Method 2:
- Eligibility: Level 1 athletes, athletes who have won
medals at Phu Dong Sport Festival of provincial and national levels, national
and international youth tournaments or national championships; having graduated
from high school or equivalent.
- Assessment: Review of application and interview.
2. Estimated tuition fee (for the 1st intake in
2021): VND 98,000,000 /student/course
