Fintech conference and MOU signing among Trust’s partners in Vietnam

On April 22nd, 2021, the Fintech Conference and MOU signing ceremony among VNU University of Economics and Business, University of Economics, Hue University and Open University of Ho Chi Minh City were held at the Hue University.


The event took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Financial Technology and digital innovation to modeRnise and develop cUrricula of VietnameSe and Philippines UniversiTies” (TRUST), aiming at building a graduate training program in Finance and Technology.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Trust’s member universities in Vietnam, representatives of MB Bank, along with leaders of faculties and offices. The conference discussed difficulties and solutions in running the master's program in Fintech.

At the conference, the delegates listened to presentations from experts and lecturers discussing the training of banking and finance in the context of digital transformation; Learning Management System-LMS and online learning support system for training activities in Finance and Technology, legal issues, enrollment, tuition fees as well as curriculum of the master's program in financial technology.

 

PhD. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh, Director of the Online Training Center, Open University of Ho Chi Minh City presented "Learning Management System-LMS and online learning support system resources for training activities"

 

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Van, Director of MB Bank in Hue, presented "Digital transformation at Military Bank"

 

PhD. Nguyen Duy Viet, Faculty of Finance and Banking, VNU University of Economics and Business with the presentation "Training in banking and finance in the context of digital transformation"

After the conference, the three universities signed a memorandum of understanding. Accordingly, the signed cooperation agreement opened up many cooperation opportunities for the universities in the field of research and joint training.
