MOU signing on communication about natural resources

On 15/1/2020, the signing ceremony between The Center for Communication on Natural Resources and Environment, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, VNU University of Economics and Business was held in the head office of Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Vo Tuan Nhan - Deputy Minister, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment; Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector, VNU University of Economics and Business; Assoc.Prof. Hoang Anh Huy - Rector, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Vu Hoang Linh - Vice Rector, VNU University of Science.

At the beginning, the universities briefly introduced about their history of development, research and training programs and other activities.

Mr. Vo Tuan Nhan - Deputy Minister emphasized that everybody must be responsible for protecting the environment. Therefore, the signing between universities for communication about resources and environment protection is really meaningful. The universities will integrate the content such as environmental ethics, sustainable development, green economy, renewable resources into the training programs to educate the students on protecting and preserving the environment.

After Mr. Vo Tuan Nhan’s speech, the signing was conducted in the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.

The parties have signed a memorandum of cooperation on natural resources and environment communication

Accordingly the parties will implement the following activities:

Take actions to communicate about natural resources, environment and sustainable development;
Introduce and exchange the experts, lecturers, engineers qualified to take part in the communication activities about natural resources, environment and sustainable development;
Facilitate the practice and experiments of the learners from the member universities ;
Organize seminars, scientific forums about economics, resources and environment management, tackle and adapt to the climate change, green consumption and sustainable development;
Build up the materials for resources, environment and sustainable development; organize the science camps and the contests for students;
Build up and participate in the research programs/projects on resources, environment and sustainable development;
Assign the staffs to take part in the training or the scientific conferences and seminars held by the parties.
