Talkshow with students of Faculty of Finance and Banking

“We represent the new generation of Vietnamese youth, we must be responsible for what we are having, not to think about ourselves but to our responsibility for the community. Let’s go for more prosperous”. This is quoted from the speech of UEB’s alumni – currently Deputy General Director of PVCombank in a talk show with students of Faculty of Finance and Banking.

The talk show took place at the Hall 801, E4 Building on 7th December 2019. Attending the event were UEB’s lecturers and leaders of banks together with 300 students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking.

On behalf of the lecturers, staff and students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu – Dean of the Faculty thanked the University, the partners for supporting the faculty over the time. In the school year 2018-2019, the Faculty gained great success both in training, research and activities of the youth and student unions.

At the event, leaders of the university and the faculty awarded lecturers and students for their contribution, the faculty members also received gifts from MB Bank.

During the talkshow, the students of the Faculty had chance to listen to Mr. Doan Duc Minh - Deputy General Director of VPBank, former student of the University; Mr. Vu Chi Cong - Director (Region 3) of Techcombank; Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Director of MB Bank (Hanoi Branch).

Besides exchanges, students of the Faculty also participated in the interesting board game - "Financial racing" made by Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Van, Dr. Trinh Thi Phan Lan and Dr. Hoang Thi Bao Thoa - a lecturer at the University of Creative and Development Economics. The game, which was creatively designed to help students to learn finance in a funny way, was well received by the students.
