Career orientation – Discussion with high school parents

More than 200 parents of Amsterdam High School participated in the information and career orientation at VNU University of Economics and Business on the afternoon of November 25th. In addition, some parents from Amsterdam secondary school were also attended.


Parents from Amsterdam High School were very interested in the international learning environment at the UEB, especially the transfer programs to receive degrees from renowned universities over the world.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of UEB, the University has now signed MOU with 23 universities over the world, all of which are among the top ranks, including University of Azirona from the United States and Fanshawe University in Canada.

Many parents said that they wanted their children to "study abroad" without going aboard, which means studying at a renowned university with an international studying environment or with a lot of foreign exchange so that they can stay with their children as well as save an expense.

 

Answering on the questions relating to tuition transfer fees, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector said: The single-semester exchange programs with partner schools are completely tuition-free for students. For transfer programs, the tuition fee is lower than normal and excellent students can always win a scholarship from a partner school.

 

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu affirmed that student exchange at regular intervals is free of charge and has been supported by the University and partners.

Many parents who are interested in the international BSBA Troy joint program have asked whether the curriculum frameworks and lecturers meet the US standards and have been answered comprehensively by the Director of the Center for International Education and Training – Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi.

Ms. Ha Thi Diem Quynh, another parent shared: My child do not want to study far from home, so I really want to find a dynamic and international learning environment for him to attend and through the session today, I see UEB is an ideal learning environment.

Parents also wish that the school can organize orientation and information sessions directly to students in innovative methods so that they can become global citizens after 4 years at VNU – UEB.
