On 25th April 2019, VNU University of Economics and Business held the finale of Finance Student Contest 2019 at the Great Hall of the Hanoi Academy of Theater and Cinema.
Presenting at the finale were five excellent teams, who have surpassed dozens of others from universities of economics in Hanoi, including Genesis, HNL, Big Bird, 21, and Triple H. Finally, Genesis became the winner of the contest "Finance Student 2019".
Before entering
the finale, the contest went through 2 rounds: Preliminary on 22nd
March and Challenge on 6th April. The organizers have selected the 5
best team to compete at the finale, including: Genesis from National Economics
University, HLN from Foreign Trade University, Big Bird from VNU University of
Economics and Business, 21 from Foreign Trade University and National Economics
University, Triple H from VNU University of Economics and Business.
Opening the finale, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty of
Finance and Banking, UEB made a speech to announce the opening of the Finale of
Financial Students 2019.
The event also
had the attendance of distinguished guests: Mr. Doan Duc Minh, Deputy General
Director of PVcomBank; Mr. Cu Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Marketing and
Communications, Agribank; Mr. Tran Viet Vinh - General Director of Fiin
Financial Technology Innovation, Mr. Dang Xuan Minh - General Director of BTC VALUE
JSC.; Mr. Ngo Son Tung from Vietsourcing.
At the finale, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le – Rector of the UEB expressed his
joy when seeing the development of Finance Students 2019 as well as the spirit
of contest in students of economics universities around Hanoi.
In the finale, the 5 teams went through 4 sessions:
Session 1:
Starting, Session 2: Acceleration, Session 3: Improvisation and session 4:
Conquering the peak of financial management.
Through the sessions, the five teams gave impressive
performances with great inspiration for all the audience. Finally, the two
teams receiving consolation prizes are: Team 21 and Triple H. The third prize
belonged to 3 guys from Big Bird team. The runner-up was HLN Team. The winner
of "Finance Student 2019" was Genesis.
The 7th Finance Student has ended
successfully. The contest next year promised to bring more chances and new
races. Special thank to all the teams for accompanying the contest throughout
the journey and to the guests and fans of the teams and everyone who attended
the Finale to make a successful Financial Student 2019.
