Official Launching of Business Challenges 2019

On 29th March 2019, in Thai Hai Eco Resort, Thai Nguyen, VNU University of Economics and Business together with FNF Vietnam, BestB Vietnam and iBosses Vietnam jointly launched the Business Challenges 2019.


The competition aims to create an environment for students in Hanoi to develop their idea of ​​starting a business and business problems solving; building connections among business community, investors with entrepreneurial ideas and business solutions. Participating in the competition, students will have the opportunities to expand knowledge and develop skills as well as learning from successful entrepreneurs, mobilizing investment for business ideas.


Attending the program, there were Mr. Pham Hung Tien - Deputy Director of FNF Vietnam; Mr. Tang Ngoc Truong An - General Director of Ibosses Vietnam; Mr. Tran Van Loi - Director of Ibosses Vietnam; Mr. Pham Anh Cuong - Founder and Executive Director of BestB Vietnam; Mr. Lai Manh Quan - Director of Trang An Insurance Company; Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh - Director of Logistic Company; Mr. Ho Nghia Thu - Chairman of PVcomBank's Trade Union, Mr. Tran Binh – CEO of Ibosses Vietnam, Mr. Tran Viet Tung - Director of Translation Alliance. From the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB and members of organizing committee. The program also welcomed businessmen as alumni of the UEB.
Giving opening remarks at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu said, the competition is an important activity of the university. The competition is the first step to light up the dream of starting a business of the students. She hoped that the competition will gather creative and start-up ideas, with support and guidance from the experts and mentors to make the ideas come true.

Next, on behalf of the organizing committee, Dr. Ho Chi Dung drew the lessons learnt from the competition last year. This year, the competition will be expanded with bigger prizes and larger number of participants.  Especially, the competition will target the young people who have succeeded with start-up ideas and hired employees. In order to improve the quality of the competition, experts have made meaningful and practical contributions.
