Beginning the meeting, the two parties exchanged information about the universities, the training programs, development strategy and orientation for future cooperation. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh emphasized that UEB promoted internationalization of education, extensive cooperation with many prestigious universities all over the world. Essex University is the third university in the UK to set up cooperation with the UEB.
At the meeting, representatives of the universities discussed top-up programs to obtain a master's degree. In particular, UEB’s students completing 3 years or 3.5 years at the UEB can be transferred to Essex University and obtain the master's degree. Meanwhile, UEB’s students, who complete at least 2 years in Vietnam can be transferred to Essex University to complete 2 years and obtain the degree in the UK. The two sides also discussed cooperation in international joint training programs in international Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
On April 4th, lecturer of Essex University will pay a visit to the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing and giving lectures to UEB’s students. The two parties are expected to discuss further about cooperative activities in the coming time.
