More chances for UEB's students to study in Italy

On 4th March 2019, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with experts from Salento University, Italy.


Attending the meeting, from Salento University, there were Dr. Claudio Petti - expert from KITFEM project, Salento University and attorney Adele Caroppo. From the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Ho Chi Dung - Associate Dean of School of Business Administration, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nham Phong Tuan from the School of Business Administration, MA. Nguyen Duc Lam - Deputy Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu emphasized the strategy of education globalization, which integrated in various activities of the university such as: student and lecturer exchange, visiting lecturers, joint research or conference etc. She said that the two universities have many things in common, especially the globalization orientation, which laid the foundation for cooperation in the coming time.

Introducing about Salento University, Dr. Claudio said, Salento University had 18 thousands students and 340 lecturers, 310 researchers, 53 training programs and 140 partners all over the world etc. At the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperative activities such as student exchange and joint research in fields of interest. Dr. Claudio said, students from Italy expressed their interest in Vietnam and are eager to take part in the exchange.

The two Italian experts will sit at the School of Business Administration. The UEB will provide the best condition for the experts to do research and give lectures to students.
