VNU ranked 124th in QS Asian University ranking 2019

On 3rd October 2018, the QS Asian University ranking has announced the results of the 2019 rankings, in which, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is ranked 124th.


In the announcement of QS Asian University ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi ranked 124th in the list. Vietnam has 7 universities in the top 500 in Asia, in which, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) ranked first in Vietnam and number 124 in Asia, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) at 144, Hanoi University of Science and Technology lies at the group from 261 to 270, Ton Duc Thang University is in group 291 to 300, Can Tho University is in group 351 to 400, University of Da Nang and Hue University in groups 451 to 500.
 
Vietnam National University, Hanoi ranked 124th in the list 
In terms of ranking trends, from 2014, VNU has improved 37 levels and always ranked first in Vietnam's higher education institutions in the QS Asia rankings.
Rankings of VNU over the years 
Prior to this, in June 2018, QS ranking organizations also announced the results of the 2019 world rankings. Accordingly, the two Vietnam National Universities are in the top 1000 of the world's top universities. This is a great step of Vietnamese universities in the trend of globalization. In 2013, Vietnam has only two universities named in the group of 201+ in the QS rankings. After 5 years, VNU has surpassed 76 other universities to be ranked in the top 1000.
 
Rankings of criteria of VNU

Previously, UniRank ™ International Higher Education Ranking System has just announced the ranking of 67 best universities in Vietnam in 2018, in which, Vietnam National University, Hanoi ranked first. This is an international university ranking system that evaluates and ranks more than 13,600 universities in 200 countries and territories.
