Europe's largest software will recruit UEB’s students

At the meeting on September 27th, leaders of the Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung (SAP), Germany agreed with leaders of UEB - VNU on some important content.


Attending the meeting, there were Ms. Josephine Galla - Managing Director of SAP Vietnam, Ms. Lindsay Nguyen - SAP Vietnam; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business; Dr. Ho Chi Dung - Institute of Business Administration, UEB.
At the beginning of the meeting, SAP representatives introduced about the company as Europe's largest software company, headquartered in Walldorf, Germany with history of 46 years in operation. Every year, SAP recruits thousands of employees, most of whom are fresh graduates and interns.
According to Ms. Josephine, GallaUniveristy Alliances Programs (UAP) is a program of SAP with a network of 3,200 universities and institutes in 111 countries all over the world. The goal of the program is to provide real opportunities for students to access SAP systems through online courses and hands-on training. The program will help students develop computer skills and opportunities to learn from experts and executives.
At the meeting, leaders of the two sides agreed to create career opportunities and annual training program for sales and presales for students. The students who demonstrates their competence during the internship will be officially recruited.
Additionally, SAP will consider supporting the competition “Business Challenge 2018” held by the Institute of Business Administration, UEB as sponsor or providing mentors etc.
In October 2018, the two sides will discuss and finalize the possible cooperation and may proceed to sign a memorandum of cooperation this year.
