MOU signing between Seabank and UEB

On 12th September, VNU University of Economics and Business signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeaBank) at the Hall 801.


Attending the signing ceremony, there were Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc - Director of SeaBank; Mr. Tran Duc - Director of SeaBank region 1 together with representatives of departments of SeaBank; from VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Research and Partnership Development; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty of Banking and Finance with representatives of offices and faculties.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu said, VNU - UEB has strived to promote the internationalization of education, attracting talented students so the best support for students is extremely important. The promotion of the relationship with SeaBank is to provide students with a better environment for practical internships, student loan support, especially scholarships awarded to students of the University. The signing ceremony today marked the first step for the two sides move with many more activities in the future.

 
 
 

Representative of SeaBank highly valued UEB’s fresh graduates, who were trained with updated knowledge, working skills and English language proficiency. Cooperating with VNU University of Economics and Business will create many more opportunities for both sides in the future.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu and Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc signed the memorandum of cooperation between VNU - UEB and the Seabank in the presence of leaders and staff of the two sides.

 
Scholarship of Seabank to UEB's students
 

Previously, SeaBank and VNU-UEB have cooperated in many activities. SeaBank has recently awarded 20 scholarships to UEB’s students at the opening ceremony of the school year 2018 - 2019.
