Beginning of term for nearly a thousand of UEB’s first year students

On 20th August 2018, 975 students of QH-2018-E spent their first day at the UEB as they made confirmation for admission procedure. This is an important step for students in confirming their study at the university.

This year, the UEB’s admission limits is 950 with 6 training disciplines, including 4 honors programs following the Circular 23 of the Ministry of Education and Training and 2 standard programs. In the first period of admission, VNU University of Economics and Business received thousands of registration as students’ first option, especially the honors programs in International Economics, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance - Banking .
Being asked about the first day of university life, student Nguyen Thi Hong from Hanoi said, "I and my family came to the University at 7am. We received detailed guidance from volunteers and staff. I could easily confirm my enrollment and felt thankful for the UEB for making my great first day."

Many parents came along with their sons or daughters on their first day at university. All of them looked extremely proud. Mr. Nguyen Ba Han from Hanoi and his daughter were present early at the Hall, he said: We chose the training program in Accounting as it is likely to have more job opportunities.

At the end of the day, 972 students had finished the admission process. Lectures are expected to take place in a few days.
