UEB’s student research won second prize in VNU’s student research contest

The research on “Effects of Fintech in Financial Literacy: The case of Asian nations” undertaken by student Hoang Thi Ngoc Anh, class QH-2014-E Finance and Banking won the second prize in VNU’s student reseach contest.


Student research is always among the top priorities of the VNU in general and in the UEB in particular. The research helps students develop critical thinking as well as develop themselves. This is the first step for students to obtain research skills, procedures of research as well as collecting, analysing and presenting the data.

The research carried by Hoang Thi Ngoc Anh was guided by Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Van had previously won the first prize in UEB’s student contest and received high valuation from the lecturers. The research address critical issues with diverse research methods. The judges appreciate author' efforts in collecting data as well as applying theory model in the research. Majority of the research are clearly written and reasoned with many practical examples.
