Three UEB’s students will be chosen to exchange in Japan

The agreement was made at the meeting between leaders of the VNU University of Economics and Business and Saga University on 6th August 2018.


This is the third meeting of the two universities after the first two meeting has reached the agreement on some cooperative activities to be implemented in 2019.
Attending the meeting, there were Prof. Hanmo Jang - Faculty of Economics, Director of the Asian Studies Institute. From UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, MA. Nguyen Duc Lam - Deputy Head of Research and Partnership Development.

At the meeting, Saga University agreed to receive up to 3 students from the UEB to exchange in 1-2 semesters; the students are free of the tuition. Respectively, VNU University of Economics and Business will receive SAGA students to study in four high quality programs (International Economics, Banking and Finance, Business Administration and Accounting and Auditing).

 
In research field, the two sides agreed to share the common research directions related to economics, integration, Asian studies, Japanese-Asian cooperation as well as the opportunities to publish research papers in two journals of the universities.

Especially, Saga University invited Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu to present at the seminar and talk with students and lecturers of Saga University (expected in 10/2018). The two universities continue to discuss the cooperation content and expected to sign the agreement in November 2018.
