From 6th to 12th June 2018, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Vice Dean of Faculty of International Business and Economics joined the Annual Meeting of the Global Studies Consortium 2018 in Moscow, Russia following invitation from Moscow State University.


The Global Studies Consortium (GSC) is the prestigious international academic association of over 20 institutions of higher learning, founded in 2007. It seeks to “promote and facilitate graduate teaching programs in global studies and to foster cooperation among them.”

 

This year, the meeting gathered leading professors from prestigious universities around the world to discuss global issues. The discussions were presented by the professors in the field and subsequently received comments from the panel of experts. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi presented the discussion under the theme of “Globalization’s ‘losers’/anti-globalization”.

In the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi seek for opportunities of bilateral cooperation with international universities as well as chances to inviting professors and international students to Vietnam in the near future.

The next meeting of GSC will be held at Leipzig University, Germany in June 2019.
