Lotte Scholarship for 6 UEB’s students

On 10th April 2018, the 21st Lotte Scholarship Award Ceremony was organized by Lotte Foundation at Lotte Hotel Hanoi.

The scholarship was awarded for 78 students (disadvantaged students and students with excellent academic performance) from 10 universities in Hanoi, including: VNU University of Economics and Business, VNU University of Languages and International Studies, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi University, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National University of Civil Engineering, National Economics University, Academy of Finance, Thang Long University. This time, VNU University of Economics and Business had 6 students being awarded the scholarship:

Phạm Thị Hương - School of Business Administration
Ninh Thị Hoa - Faculty of International Business and Economics
Hoàng Thị Ngọc Ánh - Faculty of Finance and Banking
Lương Thùy Linh - Faculty of Accounting and Auditing
Nguyễn Tố Vân - Faculty of Political Economy
Đào Thùy Linh - Faculty of Development Economics

Mr. Lee Jung Wook - C.E.O of Lotte Foundation

Mr. Lee Jung Wook - C.E.O of Lotte Foundation in Korea expressed his pride and pleasure for the past 10 years of Lotte Scholarship in Vietnam. He said that Lotte Scholarship is part of Lotte’s social responsibilities and aims at discovering and cultivating the talented for Lotte and Vietnam’s human resource in the future.

Lotte Scholarship Foundation, founded in 1983, gives support to the students with difficulties as well as those with outstanding academic achievement. In 2008, Lotte Foundation was brought to Vietnam and have annually awarded scholarships for outstanding students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. In the near future, Lotte Group promises to give more opportunities and investment for the development of Vietnamese students.
