Representatives of Russian universities visit the UEB

On 28th February 2018, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a meeting with representatives of four universities from Russian Federation.


Attending the meeting, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Svetlana Faschanova - Tomsk State University; Dr. Maryia Vladimirovna Matveeva and Dr. Antonina Semionovna Shcherbak - Tambov State University; Ms. Galina Igorevna Tsvyk and Irina Vladimirovna Sipunova - Peoples' Friendship University of Russia; Mr. Nguyen Anh Nam - Expert of education promotion, International Cooperation Department of the Far Eastern Federal University.
Attending the meeting, from the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung - Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Economics, Dr. Nguyen Tien Minh - Faculty of International Business and Economics, MA. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan - Center for International Education and Training.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Svetlana Faschanova from the University of Tomsk introduced a number of cooperative activities that the University has been implementing with Vietnamese high schools and universities over the years, mainly in the field of Russian language training. Meanwhile, he expressed his desire to cooperate with the UEB in training activities.
Next, representatives from Tambov State University - one of the oldest universities in Russia with diversified training majors, expressed their wish to expand cooperation with VNU University of Economics and Business in training, research, exchange of lecturers and students.

In addition, representatives of two major Russian universities, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and Far Eastern Federal University, suggested many cooperation opportunities between the sides, including student exchange, double degree training in multi-disciplinary, such as: economics, international economics and commerce. By the way, the Far Eastern Federal University also sent an invitation to representatives of the UEB to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum to be held in September.

At the meeting, leaders of the UEB hoped to expand the cooperation activities in the fields of journal and publishing, student exchange and research, credit recognition in training as well as seeking funding from organizations and companies.
