Students of George Mason University attend the short-term training course at the UEB

On 15th January, VNU University of Economics and Business welcomed students and lecturers of George Mason University (US) to attend the short-term training course on Vietnam's socio-economic policies in 3 days.


The delegation, including 18 students and 3 professors, were greeted by UEB’s Vice Rector - Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu and Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development - Dr. Le Trung Thanh. Speaking to the delegation of George Mason University, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu expressed the amusement when welcoming the students to learn and exchange at the UEB. This is also a chance to promote cooperation between the two universities and the two countries.

 
 
The students and professors of George Mason University visit Vietnam National University, Hanoi

At the first day of the course, the foreign students listened to Prof. Pham Hong Tung - Director of VNU Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Sciences presentation on policies, cultures, traditional and social issues of Vietnam. After that, Dr. Le Dang Doanh - Former Director of Central Institute for Economic Management presented about the policies, mechanism, legal procedures in economic management in Vietnam as well as international integration of Vietnam in coming years.

In the next two days, the delegation will listen to presentation on other issues of Vietnam’s policies from leading professors and doctors of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This is a meaningful exchange activity between the two universities, which opens more cooperation opportunities in the future.
