UEB’s students attended the 7th International Student Forum

From 10th to 14th August 2015, students of the VNU University of Economics and Business attended the (ISF) in Korea. This year, the forum under the theme "Entrepreneurship, Corporate Innovation and Economic/Social Fairness” took place at Ewha Womans University and attracted nearly 40 students from member universities.



UEB’s attendees at the forum included Luong Thi Tuyen from the Faculty of Development Economics and Bui Thi Lan Huong graduates from Faculty of Finance and Banking.

The International Student Forum takes place every two years alternately in the member universities, including: Ewha Womans University (Korea), Shenzhen University (China), Oita University, Kyushu Sangyo University (Japan), Chiang Mai University (Thailand), University of Paderborn (Germany) and the VNU University of Economics and Business.


UEB's students - Bui Thi Lan Huong and Luong Thi Tuyen presented at the forum.

At the forum, together with presentations of other member universities, students of the UEB presented the discussion on "Entrepreneurship in Vietnam after Economic Reforms: An Analysis of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM)". Under this topic, UEB’s students gave a close look at Vietnam’s economy, business environment and requirements for starting a business in Vietnam.

Under the framework of the forum, Ewha University organized field trip for participants to learn about Amore Pacific Group, the largest corporation manufacturing cosmetics in Korea. The trip brought exciting experiences and lessons by production technology as well as the professionalism in the delivery of corporate history.
