As the new year of 2019 is approaching, Rector of the VNU University of Economics and Business sents the greetings to generations of lecturers, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, domestic and international partners of the university.

The year 2018 marked the turning point of VNU University of Economics and Business on the path of internationalization and integration. As the spring of 2019 is coming, we are very glad to present you the noteworthy events and achievements of the university in 2018:

Recently, in the summary assembly for 2018 and planning for 2019 of VNU University of Economics and Business on 22rd January 2019, Rector of the UEB announced the admission limits of 1.825.

On 17th January 2019, leaders of the UEB worked with representatives of Exeter Business School to discuss cooperation activities.

During the meeting with the Faculty of Political Economy on 16th January 2019, Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le said that UEB could open two new faculties in 2019.

On 14th January 2019, the School of Business, VNU University of Economics and Business opened the program on scaling social enterprises in Vietnam with students from Sydney University, Australia.

On 14th January 2019, the UEB received the master students and lecturers from The Schar School of Policy and Government , George Mason University, the US to attend the course on “Vietnam Study Abroad Programme” in 8 days.

From 10th to 13th January 2019, the Youth Union of VNU University of Economics and Business led by MSc. Nguyen Trung Phong - The Union Secretary went for volunteer to Xuan Truong commune, Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province with officers and students and representatives of the sponsoring enterprises.

On 11th January 2019, Embassy of Japan in Vietnam awarded the certificate of merit for VNU University of Economics and Business for recognition of the UEB’s contribution in promoting cooperative partnership between Vietnam and Japan.

In recruitment, there are a lot of factors coming into play, in which income is an indispensable but not the most important one. This was mutually agreed among the students at the Career Orientation Talkshow organized by VNU University of Economics and Business in collaboration with Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) on 5th January 2019.

On 4th January 2019, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with 2 representatives from Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma to discuss student exchange.

Recently, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and International Business, VNU University of Economics and Business had a teaching visit at Waseda University, Japan. He continued to tighten the cooperated relationship between the two universities.

On 3rd January 2019, VNU University of Economics and Business held the seminar on “Development strategy for research and creativity at the UEB”.

Recently, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung - Associate Dean of Faculty of International Economics and Business, UEB was sent to join the short course in “Tax research and Illicit Financial Flows Training” in Bali, Indonesia from 12th December to 15th December 2018.

On 20th December 2018, the meeting on innovation of student internship was held at the Hall 801 to discuss the ways to diversify student internship.
